Black History Month 2013

Another full, sweaty day at Ermine Road Day Center’s gym with lots of participants gathered from different day centers and a perfect opportunity to meet old friends, both service users and staff. Our drums were outnumbered by the number of participants so we had to circulate them!

Grassy Meadow Day Centre – Christmas Party

This event was to celebrate the second phase of our project with Hillingdon Council. Sarah Durner from Specialist Health Promotion Team opened the event with a power point presentation about what has been done so far and also what will be our future plans. After that we demonstrated a selection of our activities e.g. call/response, solo in-turn, leading in-turn to the audience who were service users carer and families along with service managers and staff from the council. It was a perfect chance to show case our improvements with service users and trainee staff.
